Good food is one of life's little pleasures.
I've traveled some, and I can say I have tried out several different restaurants. Most have been quite good. Occasionally though we all stumble across one we aren't crazy about. I would have to say my all-time favorite is Chong's in Paducah, Ky. Thankfully, it's only about an hour away. I eat there a few times a year.
This place has the best Chinese food, ever.
There are four or five of them in Paducah. One of them has a buffet that is really affordable. My two favorite dishes? Ham fried rice and pressed chicken.
There is just something more authentic about their recipes. You can really taste the difference between their food and other Chinese restaurants.
Sure they might not have crab legs and steak, but once you sink your teeth into a spoonful of their ham fried rice, you aren't going to miss the crab legs.
The second best Chinese restaurant I have ate at here in Western Ky is The Peking. It's located in Benton, Ky. During lunch, they too have a very affordable buffet. They serve some really good pork fried rice and moo goo gai pan. Although I might not be able to spell those right, I can say they taste great:-)
So what's your favorite restaurants, and where are they located?

I love chinese food. My three favorite restaurants don't serve it though. They are The American Cafe, The Cheesecake Factory, and Jack Astors. Since I moved back to Canada, I haven't been to the first two in almost a year, but I will go back to eat there whenever I get a chance.
Well, my favorite Chinese place is called China Star, in Sioux City, Iowa. They have a very affordable buffet ($15 for 2 people w/ drinks). My favorite items are the crab rangoon (which is NOT an item available everywhere, I never saw it once when I lived in Texas)and the honey chicken.
I love many kinds of food and being Chinese my faves are steamed fish dishes like pomfret. Living in Malaysia I get to enjoy Malay and Indian food as well.
All of these places sound yum! Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
We have some great chinese buffet places in England. They are my favourites- eat all you want ones!
